Island Eyecare offers high quality lenses which give only the best optics for your glasses and give you optimum vision.  Different people have different lens requirements.  For example, it is well known that children are not gentle with their glasses.  Therefore, all children's lenses are made of a material called polycarbonate which is shatter resistant and thereby protects your child's eyes.  Higher prescriptions also require another type of lens which is referred to as a high index lens.  This design minimizes the thickness of the lenses and so they are more cosmetically appealing while still providing great optical quality.  Antireflective lenses are a must for all individuals as they decrease glare and increase the comfort of your vision.
